What to expect on the trail 

A return ride meanders along a spectacular stretch of coast (10 km) to Jackson Road (and the start of the Motu Road Trail if you wish to extend your ride).
An easy trail for cyclists, walkers, runners and children, with many places to access the beach. The trail, a compacted surface is undulating with easy gradients.
Shop can be accessed at 5km mark after the boardwalk – proceed to main road, turn left and ride 150m.
Toilets at Memorial Park Reserve, Hikuwai Beach and Tirohanga Shop.
